Lifestyle medicine is designed to consider all the modifiable factors that contribute to your wellbeing. We work within a boundary of evidence informed medicine to modify disease progression, improve symptoms and disease outcomes in conjunction with any existing treatment and medication.

How it works

In our initial consultation, we will talk in detail about your concerns and discuss your medical history and any biometrics or tests you may already have. We discuss the key pillars of health and the relevance to you. We will consider actionable changes and realistic targets, and the support required by you to achieve these.

I will follow this up with a detailed personalised report which I will send to you within a week, which will include my recommendations to you and how to achieve them.

Follow- up consultations can be booked as required by you and are charged per appointment.

For the most effective way to make meaningful changes to your health I recommend a series of consultations to increase the chances of meeting and sticking to your goals.

Dr Tasneem Kapasi

I completed both my undergraduate and medical training at the University of Southampton in England, graduating in 2011. Following this, I pursued specialty training in General Practice (Family Medicine) at esteemed hospitals throughout London. In 2018, I achieved membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners.

From the onset of my medical education, I recognised that the prevalent culture of quick fixes and reliance on medication often failed to address the underlying issues. I learned that by investigating the root causes of disease and adopting a holistic approach, I could provide more effective care and achieve significantly better health outcomes for my patients.

Over the years, I have deepened my understanding of the critical roles that nutrition, well-being, and the core principles of lifestyle medicine play in health. Equipped with the latest evidence-based medical research, I strive to bridge the gap between conventional treatments and functional approaches, particularly in managing chronic health conditions and enhancing overall well-being and happiness.

I am a proud representative of both the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, and I continue to practice as both a private and national health service doctor, offering care both in person and online.

With a strong foundation in the science of health and an evidence-based approach to understanding the root causes of illness, I aim to look beyond traditional medical practices. I am dedicated to partnering with you to achieve your health goals, whether you seek to address specific concerns or simply wish to boost your energy, reduce cravings, or improve your sleep.
